Trouble At The
Tudor Banquet

(children's musical and Tudor resource pack incl. recorder parts)

Anne and Robert are preparing for their first
Tudor banquet, but spoilt Robert is unimpressed, especially with learning
the Pavane dance. At the market they meet Tom, whose father is one of the
court musicians. He can't understand Robert's reluctance. Tom sneaks
into the banquet uninvited, ending up in deep trouble, involving the
Queen, a jester costume, and an inability to juggle! The most original and user friendly Tudor resource
package we have seen. Ideal for topic work,
recorder playing and assembly items as well as a Tudor show.

'Trouble
at the Tudor Banquet' is more than just a play and music. The
games, recipes and other activities provided make this a useful and
flexible resource for teachers planning a unit on the Tudors.
There is enough variety in the play itself for it to be used either as a
class assembly or as a whole school play.

Reeves - Teacher, West Sussex
