Musical - full or part performance

Photocopying (incl. OHPs), manual or electronic reproduction of a wide range of hymns, carols and songs used during concerts, assemblies &/or for acts of collective worship.

Photocopying of all other material from music publications 

Organizing a school play, (except musicals) an end of term concert or recital involving live or recorded music that is attended by family or friends 

Recording a radio or television broadcast for educational purposes

Photocopying articles from magazines or journals, or photocopying extracts from text books  (except for music / song lyrics)

Playing a radio or tape/CD player in administration offices or staff rooms

Creating and storing on computer the school's own hymn book or carol/song sheet

Producing video or audio recordings of a school carol service or other religious/seasonal festival to circulate to parents

In other words, you need the following cover in relation to Starshine music products 
(or any similar publisher):

1.  For performances of musicals (complete or in part) you need to apply for a licence directly to Starshine Music.
     Charges vary according to venue, audience figures, charges made etc., but are usually between £10 and £32
     for the first performance (approx. $14 to $40, depending on exchange rates)
2.  For public performances of songs you need to apply directly to Starshine Music.  (Ditto, between £3 and £9 -  
     $5 - $14 approx.)
3.  If you wish to photocopy our scripts you need to purchase a photocopy master directly from Starshine Music. This provides you with unlimited copying for your own school/group.
4.  If you wish to photocopy/OHP song items from our books (music or words)  you need a CCLI licence,
     and enter the details on your current CCLI worksheet.  
5.  If you wish to photocopy any other items from our books you need to contact us for permission.
5.  If you wish to make any form of recording of any of our material you should a) contact us for permission,
     b) hold a CCLI licence, and c) enter the details on your CCLI worksheet.
